Energize your career at Exelon! PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Exelon's Content Lab develops strategic, innovative, engaging communications supporting our companywide brand strategy. The Content Lab Operations Manager will oversee the creative request process, assign projects, manage the production schedule, maintain a network of freelance videographers, photographers, and graphics designers, and manage all related invoicing. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Content Lab's Creative Content Manager to understand the creative vision and oversee the technical editing process to ensure the best possible final product. The Operations Manager will also act as a liaison between the Exelon Content Lab and IT Department, and third-party IT vendors in order to manage livestream services, technical processes, and equipment/software maintenance. The Operations Manager will also serve as the Content Lab archival manager which will require managing dual-site content sharing, b-roll collection and dissemination, and the design and management of the Content Lab's file structure, sharing standards, and tagging protocols. In this role, the Operations Manager will also be required to institute an ongoing training process which will include identifying and scheduling critical training to keep the Exelon Content Lab operating at the highest possible industry standard. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Manage Exelon's Content Lab creative requests, production schedule, freelance network, and related invoicing. 2. Oversee technical editing of videographer and photographer. 3. Act as IT liaison between Exelon's Content Lab and the Exelon IT department and third-party technical vendors. 4. Responsible for Exelon's Content Lab archive and all related tasks. 5. Lead the Exelon Content Lab's creative training strategy and schedule. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: *A four year degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field *Minimum 10 years of experience *Demonstrated skill with video editing software platforms, specifically proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro X *Extensive knowledge of video production equipment *Experience with live streaming *Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines *Strong interpersonal communication and management skills *A high level of self-motivation and independence will be critical, as will strategic thinking and organizational sensitivity *A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs *Excellent follow through capability; demands high level of performance from self and others *Exceptional creativity, innovation and strategic thinking *Experience managing vendors and budgets *Demonstrated managerial experience *Knowledge of layout/design principles *Ability to interact with all levels of staff, including senior executives Preferred: *Master's degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field Qualifications POSITION SCOPE - Reports to Senior Manager, Editorial and Creative, with accountability for client satisfaction among internal clients - Work alongside a diverse team of writers, graphics designers, photographers, and videographers. - High level of strategic thinking, digital and branding experience, creativity and writing skill required - Some travel required. - Self-starter with ability to work independently DISCLAIMER The preceding position description is intended to provide the general nature and level of work to be performed by employees within this classification.
