Software QA Analyst / Tester - Top Secret Title: Software QA Tester Location: McLean, VA Duration: 12+ Months Clearance: Top Secret GDH is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support a Federal client in Tysons, VA. Must be skilled working in an Agile environment. Overview: The Software QA Tester will assess our software quality through manual and automated testing. This role is responsible for finding and reportin g bugs and glitches with a detail- oriented eye. The role will ensure that our products, applications, and systems are functioning correctly. Key Responsibilities: Execute test cases and analyze results. Reporting and documenting technical issues. Review and analyze system specifications and identify fixes as appropriate Evaluate product code according to specifications. Create logs to document testing phases and defects. Report bugs and errors to development team. Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Write automated test scripts to analyze performance and functionality of software applications Develop simulation environments for high-load performance testing Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, software technology, or related field from an accredited higher learning institution. Minimum of 2 years' proven experience working in software quality assurance. Proven functional knowledge of JavaScript and Java . Working knowledge and experience managing test cases through test management software. Experience working with GIT and able to perform automation testing. Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus. Java and JavaScript development preferred. Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
