The American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), a medical specialty society of over 14,500 members located in Bethesda, Maryland, seeks a Project Manager for the ACG Institute for Clinical Research and Education. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Research and Institute Programs, and will provide support for a range of short- and long-term projects including research awards and the Visiting Professorships program. The ideal candidate will have experience with grant administration, grant writing, and project management. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee research grant activities throughout the entire grant cycle Coordination of Visiting Professorship Program Manage quarterly webinars Contributor to the ACG Institute Annual Report and ACG Magazine - writing, researching, proofing, and editing articles and other copy Responsible for keeping the Institute section of the ACG website up-to-date Other project management as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required 5+ years of progressive experience in a non-profit, association or foundation environment, including project management, grants and contracts experience or equivalent combination Exceptional project management and analytical skills Demonstrated strong organizational skills, including workflow management, coordinating a variety of tasks simultaneously and attention to detail Superior critical thinking skills and judgment, with an ability to maintain a professional, upbeat attitude Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work with multiple deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required Proficiency in MS Office programs, Adobe Suite, and grant reporting or application sites Ability to travel, as necessary Additional Details: Competitive salary, benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, and retirement plan.
