Job : The NPD Senior Engineer II position is responsible for providing technical expertise, leadership and planning to a large or several smaller technical projects. This role will specifically be focused on acting as the SME for TMC's coating process. As such we are targeting candidates with a background in (or if not all, a combination) Chemistry, Material Science, Polymers, Surfaces, and Coatings. Medical Device experience is not a requirement for this position. The NPD Senior Engineer II uses their breadth of knowledge to serve as a technical team leader providing guidance, oversight and coaching to other engineers. The NPD Sr. Engineer II position is specifically accountable for the product design, process development, process improvement, and technical problem solving of the engineering team working with them. Background / : Bachelor's and / or Master's Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or Biomedical Engineering 15+ years of experience Ability to act as SME in area of expertise, project lead, mentor, and core project team member All or combination of experience in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymers, Surfaces, and Coatings
