Job DescriptionJOB OVERVIEW: Valiant Integrated Services seeks an experienced Risk Manager to support the organization's insurance portfolio and enterprise risk management program. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Contributes to 'best in class' risk management function, process and policies for the company. * Serves as the liaison between the company and insurance brokers in communicating the company's insurance requirements. Works with the Chief Administrative Officer and VP of Risk Management to manage the company's insurance programs and key relationships with brokers, underwriters and other stakeholders. * Maintains records of insurance policies, premiums, invoices and claims. Establishes and maintains supporting files and documentation requested to support insurance applications. * Facilitates insurance bid deliverables including surety letters, requisite insurance documentation, and insurance and bonding quotations. Reviews insurance terms and conditions contained in solicitations and contracts and advising on the same. * Collaborates with shared service functions, including finance, legal, and HR to gather information for actuarial or broker analysis. * Reviews RFPs and proposals to identify risks and collaborate with legal counsel to develop mitigation strategies. * Identifies and quantifies risk through enterprise risk assessments, managing, updating and reporting on the same at an executive level. * Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience, including Board Directors. Assists the Chief Administrative Officer in preparing for Board meetings. * Builds risk awareness and conducting risk training within the company to drive a risk management culture. * Assists Vice President, Risk Management with other projects as needed.
