Our client is looking for a Software Engineer in the 3-8 years of experience range programming C++ on a Linux OS. This engineer will be supporting Submarine Warfare programs for the US Navy. These products range from sonar/acoustic systems to para-scopes to anti-submarine warfare sensors.This engineer will be responsible for the design, development and testing of software for the Navy and other services. These products are principally built using C++ and JAVA, operating in a LINUX environment.This project is a legacy program that is receiving upgrades and modifications. 70% upgrades and modifications, 30% bug fixes and maintenance.10% Design of Modifications40% Programming mod/upgrades in Java and C++20% Programming bug fixes in Java and C++15% Uniting Testing
