Provide system-of-system engineering for the interaction of the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) with various combat and navigation system elements. Review and analyze technical products and designs. Responsibilities: Support IWS 10 in various systems engineering activities, including, but not limited to, creation and review of requirements documents, concepts of integration, DoDAF-related artifacts and identification and analysis of integration issues across carrier and amphibious assault platforms. Required Skills and Experience: Experience in one or both of the following areas: Working knowledge in the development of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products as well as other architectural representations Experience in the developing and assessing of Capability Requirement Documents, Capability Production Documents, System Engineering Plans, System Requirements Documents, System Design Documents, Interface Design Documents, and Specifications. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with Naval combat systems, eg, AEGIS and SSDS, including design, performance, analysis, military applications, or operational experience. Education: High School diploma or GED with twenty years of relevant experience OR BS in engineering, physical science, or mathematics with 15 years of relevant experience OR MS in engineering, physical science, or mathematics and 10 years of relevant experience Clearance: Interim Secret Travel: There may be some travel to Virginia Beach Location: This opportunity is located at WeWork's facility on 80 M St SE.
