The Sales Counselor at The Virginian, Fairfax, VA, is responsible for independent, assisted and memory care sales and closing activity that meets or exceeds budgeted occupancy goals. The Sales Counselor manages the sales process from inquiry to residency by effective representation, negotiation and promotion of the community to the individual consumer and influencers. Comfortable working as part of a team, using a CRM and Life Care Services best practices to ensure success. What you need to know Work in partnership with the Community staff to insure all aspects of the sales process (inquiry, tour, follow-up, and closing the sale) are handled professionally and expertly.Ensure appropriate follow up activities are completed so all inquiries are identified, scheduled, completed and documented.Utilize the Leads Management software system on a daily basis to capture key data as appropriate.What we are looking for Two years sales experience, preferably in the Senior Housing industryStrong desire to grow professionally Passion for seniorsEven better A desire and ability to relate to and continue learning about the senior population.Self-Disciplined, driven, able to demonstrate initiative, maintain confidentiality, competitive, attentive to details, persistent, and personable.Ability to work well within a team environment.Demonstrated success in a sales environment.
