Overview: Responsible for supporting all recruiting and human resources activities for Olgoonik Development LLC, and its subsidiaries, both domestic and overseas. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting with the staffing/recruiting process to include but not limited to: Maintaining job library in Taleo. Preparing and posting job notices (internal/external). Reviewing resumes and applications received. Pre-screening and interviewing candidates. Conducting background and reference checks. Scheduling pre-employment drug tests. Preparing offer letters. Ensures recruiting function is compliant with all applicable regulations: AAP, OFCCP, EEO, etc. Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Performs new hire data entry of East Coast/Overseas personnel information into the HRIS. Provides assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Answers general human resources related questions. Act as liaison between employee to payroll and benefits. Assists with team-building events for the Annandale Office, such as holiday celebrations, quarterly meetings, and the annual picnic. Ensure all completed HR-related forms and documents are forwarded to Corporate HR and Payroll in a timely manner. Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred. Three (3) or more years of administrative or customer service experience. Must have at least one (1) year of experience with sensitive and confidential information (ie, credit card numbers, social security numbers, health information, etc.) A combination of applicable experience and training may be considered in lieu of degree preference. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of basic Recruiting and HR concepts, policies, and procedures is preferred, but not required. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Software Suites; Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to handle and communicate confidential information discreetly and tactfully Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and talk with employees from all levels Ability to multi-task efficiently; works in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and has a strong attention for detail. Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision in a hectic and changing environment. Must demonstrate an excellent attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
