The Business Development Representative provides support to the Account Executive Team by generating, identifying and qualifying leads. The Business Development representative creates and uses lists and databases from strategic accounts, target campaigns, marketing events and 3rd party services to achieve their lead generation goals. Make daily calls to C-Suite and VP level targets within prospect organizations Outline the unique value proposition of Mosaic Learning and create sufficient interest to secure an introductory meeting Support Account Executives who sell to a wide variety of organizations, such as associations, retail, medical and higher education Develop messaging to prospects as part of an ongoing multi-touch campaign Generate marketing packages including direct mail, social media, direct email campaigns, and promotional products Research and update prospect lists to verify correct names and titles Create and maintain additional prospect lists and databases Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 1-3 years of outbound prospecting experience Technology sales and/or enterprise level prospecting experience is a plus Inside sales experience is a plus Goal oriented and fearless on the phone Strong problem-solving ability Excellent written/verbal communication skills Motivation, drive and a self-starting mindset Ability to think on your feet and provide value in brief interactions Ability to research to find key prospects within identified verticals Good time management with strong organizational skills Opportunities for this Role: Generate new business opportunities to drive our growth objectives Create and prioritize strategic target account lists Research and build new and existing accounts (ie adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling) Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities Career advancement to an account executive role is possible by consistently meeting and exceeding performance metrics
