Our team of experienced Windows, Linux, and network engineers is seeking a motivated person to perform continuous computer security and network security analysis of our information systems. Applicants selected must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance; therefore, US Citizenship is required. include: Ownership of the security of our information system Capturing newly released vulnerabilities and determining our exposure level Performing security audits of our information systems and reporting the results to the team and leadership Implementing patches and fixes to remediate identified vulnerabilities Research and develop innovative ways to enhance our defensive posture Perform ethical hacking or white hat activities as a way to research and develop innovative ways to attack our existing systems to ensure protection from unknown vulnerabilities and zero-day attacks Required Skills and Experience: Applying computer security best practices and principles to deployed information systems Applying network security best practices and principles to deployed information systems Demonstrated understanding of system engineering processes and the role that information security has to play in those processes Identifying and correcting vulnerabilities to deployed information systems Penetration and vulnerability testing Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems Strong scripting skills Understanding of the OSI model and standard network protocols Subnetting, DNS, encryption technologies and standards, VPNs, VLANs, VoIP, etc. Creating and presenting system security status reports Preferred Skills: Nessus or other vulnerability scanner Configuring network routers, switches, firewalls, etc. Windows and Linux hardening On-call availability Possess an active US Government security clearance Education: Relevant college degree plus two years of experience, or five years of relevant experience Preferred Certifications: CEH, CCNP Security, GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, CISSP Benefits: We offer our employees an excellent compensation and benefits package which includes generous salary and compensated absences, 401(k) 6% match with immediate vesting, life, disability, health, dental, and vision insurance, Legal Resources Plan, 529 College Savings Plan, tuition assistance, and much more.
