Summary

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Navy Chief Learning Office, Department of the Navy of CHIEF LEARNING OFFICE NAVAL ED.

This position is a full-time term appointment not to exceed 366 Days with the option of extending up to 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • You will serve as the designated officer for the education and advisory boards and permanent subcommittees for graduate education institutions.
  • You will manage all administrative requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • You will oversee assigned workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks as directed by the Chief Learning Officer and the Chair of the Education Board.
  • You will direct the study and review of existing private and public sector ?Best Education Practices? to determine individual feasibility and applicability to the organization.
  • You will develop and maintain an effective network of senior officials (Federal, State and local), Members of Congress and their staff, and external experts in the academic arena.
  • You will recruit and generate interest among national level experts in the field of education, technology, and future learning programs.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative management and coordination of education programs for an agency or academic institution (e.g. university, college, etc.); examining and developing recommendations to improve education related business operations; AND establishing guidelines in concert with strategic guidance from higher echelon staff.
