Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.

Experience

Five (5) years of experience working in quantitative analysis, analytical problem solving, metrics development, and/or business strategy implementation in large organization. Must have experience working in an EEO capacity.
Possession of a valid District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia motor vehicle operator's license from jurisdiction of residence.

Satisfactorily complete the medical examination for this position, if required. The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of this position either with or without reasonable accommodations.

Job Summary/Duties:

The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Reporting & Data Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development, collection, analysis, documentation, and communication of underutilization of racial/ethnic, gender, veterans and individuals with disabilities groups. The incumbent performs research, analytical, and data management functions in support of the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity. This Analyst maintains department database containing demographic workplace data and complaints of EEO discrimination. The EEO Data Analyst audits, reconciles, updates and tracks the status of complaints in automated reporting systems; and responds to all EEO related data and tracking information requests.

The incumbent also generates reports from databases including EEO reports required by state and federal government agencies; analyzes information from internal department databases and from external sources; identifies trends; and prepares presentation materials for the General Manager (GM) and Executive Management Team (EMT)

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority operates the second largest rail transit system and the fifth largest bus network in the United States. Overall, about 40 percent of the region's residents commute to work on Metro.
