The Training & Development Specialist participates in the designing, planning, coordination and implementation of the operational and administrative activities of the Organizational Development initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Organizes, prepares and conducts training courses and coaching initiatives for Fund personnel
  • Assists in the preparation and set up of training courses, skill development sessions and materials and/or the procurement of outside training sources, coordination of enrollments and scheduling of courses
  • Assists with the instructional design and development of training material and ancillary documents (slides, workbooks, handouts, etc)
  • Facilitate skill development training and coaching initiatives for individual and groups
  • Develop eLearning content and conduct virtual facilitation
  • Identify opportunities to improve OD training initiatives
  • Plan, develop, and prepare materials for training and coaching initiatives
  • Must be able to facilitate in a lead capacity and be comfortable with using good judgment to make independent decisions based upon limited information and time


Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, Training and Development, Instructional Design or related field; or the equivalent experience, plus
  • Experience working with online/virtual training and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Minimum three (3) years practical Training and/or Organizational Development experience required
  • Experience with Shared Content Object Reference Model (SCORM)
  • Must have experience designing, delivering and evaluating training needs pre/post assessments, developing effective training programs and materials, and presenting course materials in a formal training environment
  • Clear understanding and application of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design
  • Must meet expected professional performance standards including attendance and punctuality
