Responsibilities

As a Program Analyst you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Plans, evaluates, and determines relevance of source material and analyze data; cultivates and identifies key internal and external sources of relevant information that meet customer and self-derived needs.
  • Develops and implements strategies for integration of new data feeds or historical information in support of DoD interests and policy objectives.
  • Utilizes a variety of methodological tools and approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex and significant analytic issues and incorporate insights and findings into well-crafted, sophisticated intelligence products.
  • Conducts and produces tactical, multidisciplinary, and strategic analysis that supports key US national security, foreign policy, and foreign vetting objectives and helps shape DoD analysis and priorities.
  • Guides efforts to design processes and scalable solutions to increase efficiencies in bulk data exploitation and identity link analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant DoD, IC policy, and personnel vetting procedures and demonstrated knowledge of analytic tradecraft and superior ability to communicate intelligence information and judgments to generalists as well as specialists.
  • Conducts continual analyses of program effectiveness, efficiency, cost effectiveness, schedule adherence and measurement of program accomplishments and results.

DCSA, as a newly designated Defense Agency is undergoing a multi-year transformation that includes a significant expansion of predecessor agencies' authorities and responsibilities. Mission accretion and associated growth in personnel and resources requires deliberate coordination and planning across operations and support activities to achieve effective outcomes while simultaneously establishing and integrating new activities, initiatives and projects. The new organization will be comprised of nearly 13,000 government and contractor personnel operation throughout the United States and overseas supporting stakeholders across the federal government.

Employees Serviced by DLA: Civilian Federal employees who receive human resources servicing through the Defense Logistics Agency DO NOT need to submit supporting documentation if applying through merit promotion. Your record in Electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) will be used to verify your eligibility. It is your responsibility to ensure the required documents are in your eOPF for verification purposes.
