Digital Forensics Analyst, Senior
Key Role:

Employ forensic tools and techniques to support the investigation of Cyber intrusions and malicious activity and recover deleted, fragmented, and corrupted data from digital media of all types. Use forensically sound procedures to identify network Cyber intrusion evidence and identify perpetrators. Exercise considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of an assignment. Guide the successful completion of major programs and function in a project leadership role, as needed. Support other team members with technical assistance and guidance on problem sets, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with digital forensics, incident response, or information security analysis and tools

-Experience with using Windows, Linux, and MacOS
-Experience with host-based forensic analysis and techniques
-Knowledge of basic internal protocols, including TCP/IP
-Ability to perform network forensics with tools and image a variety of system hosts

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with a common scripting or programming language, including Perl, Python, Bash, or PowerShell

-Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response tools

-Experience with commonly used forensic toolsets, including EnCase, FTK, or BlackLight

-BA or BS degree in an IT- or Cyber-related field

-Active Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), or GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) Certification


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
