Independent Verification and Validation Specialist
Key Role:

Provide software, hardware, and wireless testing support to the client based on submitted requirements for functionality and use of tools that have been developed. Leverage a technical knowledge of components. Interpret submitted documentation, including user and functional requirements and develop test plans and test procedures that verify and validate the requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with systems engineering and testing

-Experience with Cisco Systems, UNIX, MAC, and Linux or RedHat

-Knowledge of various Windows operating systems

-Ability to analyze deficiencies in tools tested and give a risk assessment of anomalies that are not resolved

-Ability to document and present test findings and observations during a formal review before peers and clients

-Ability to work in an environment of rapidly changing requirements in support of the client mission

-Ability to be a self-starter, work with relatively vague requirements, be willing to perform studies and demonstrations, and investigate new areas of technology

-Ability to work well individually and as a team player and work collaboratively within a diverse team

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with computer networking, switches, routers, hubs, servers, racks, firewalls, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and cables

-Experience with building or maintaining databases

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field

-CCNA, CCNP, and CNE Certifications

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
