Education and Experience Required:
• BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or other healthcare related field
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant IT experience
• Experience in healthcare industry preferred
• Experience in IT systems support including customer service, schedule management, risk management, and change management preferred

The Systems Administrator will provide information technology support across the Home Care Division systems development life cycle and serve as a resource to the clinical and business operation team. Under general supervision from the vice president and in collaboration with the Support Center information technology team, the systems administrator will include working across the systems development life-cycle, interacting with staff from across the Home Care Division to analyze the current environment, recommend and design future state solutions, and support implementation and efficient use of technology solutions. Additionally, will assist in organizing and developing the business intelligence & data analysis functions for the organization.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8-5 p.m.

May require occasional after hours or on call availability.

Possible infrequent weekend availability.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities including Direct Reports:

1. Works closely with Home Health management to prioritize business goals and information needs.

2. Generates electronic medical record (EMR) system reports for clinical and business departments.

3. Supports clinical and business system functions.

4. Collaborates and coordinates initiatives with corporate IT as needed.

5. Understands and summarizes clinical and business needs and translates into functional and technical requirements.

6. Analyzes business/clinical/system processes, identify options for potential solutions, and assess for technical and business suitability.

7. Conducts data analysis daily, maps data/information flow and documents data requirements. Collects information to analyze and evaluate current technology needs and requirements.

8. Prepares detailed process maps, flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities, processes, business interactions, and data.

9. Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.

10. Facilitates training related to clinical and business system requirements.

11. Coordinates groups and committees related to clinical/business system's needs.

12. Drafts and maintains documentation for functional requirements, design specifications, QA plans, test plans, and system updates.

13. Maintains communication with management, staff, vendors and remote systems support staff.
