Freddie Mac's Finance Division is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior to be part of the Risk and Finance Strategic Operations. Risk & Finance Strategic Operations is responsible for the operational needs of Finance & Risk with an emphasis on reporting, forecasting, and enterprise risk and return analysis.

Your Work Falls into Two Primary Categories:

Forecasting and Reporting
  • Perform forecast analysis and reporting for Corporate Forecast and Stress Testing.
  • Work with business segment partners to obtain financial data and explain business drivers.
  • Produce analytic results and communicate to senior managements and business segments.
  • Maintain supporting documents for controls and audit testing.

Ad Hoc Analysis
  • Take part in ad hoc requests such as benchmark analysis, competitor analysis, valuation projects, analyst research summary… etc.
  • Use multiple reporting and analytical tools to address business needs
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert for your areas.


  • 5-7 years of experience
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or another related field.

Preferred Skills

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with financial reporting and forecasting in an FP&A environment, including analyzing financial statements and corporate results.
  • Knowledge of secondary mortgage market, Freddie Mac's financial statements and business practice, Dodd Frank Stress Testing (DFAST), and Conservatorship Capital Framework (CCF).
  • Experience with data analytics/visualization software (e.g. Tableau), enterprise software systems (e.g. Hyperion/ SmartView, WDesk), and advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
