Coordinator/Webmaster Multimedia Specialist
Exempt Staff, 12-Month Full-Time Position Number: 103134
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of ANSC and ENST department chairs, design and maintain department websites and web pages. Design, develop and disseminate professional communications from each department, including brochures, posters, newsletters and promotional materials (electronic and hard copy) to ensure that online marketing materials are fresh, current and updated. Design, construct and maintain department website and web pages; research, write and edit web content and newsletters, and social media content; generate and create graphics and video content. Provide support and assistance in creating web sites for extension and research activities within the department. Provide web server, desktop and Apple-specific technology support. Develop and maintain departmental databases to support interactive content on web site(s). Film and edit video of departmental and extension-related events and seminars.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in related field (such as information technology, computer science, advertising, extension education, and communications) is required. Minimum 3 years of experience (can be a combination of full and part time work) in web and database development using HTML, XHTML, CSS; and knowledge of MySQL, PHP, CMS, and MS Access; Experience using dynamic web technologies such as AJAX and DHTML is required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of current web standards and best practices; Experience using the entire Adobe Creative Cloud; Experience working in both Windows and Mac environments and excellent oral and written communication skills.
