The Chronicle of Higher Education is seeking a part-time office assistant. This position will cover reception duties including supporting Chronicle callers, readers, visitors, and staff. Located at the reception desk, you will provide excellent customer service - answering phones, managing the reception area, and other support services to staff members. You will fill in at reception to cover for lunch breaks and other absences, and to allow the full-time receptionist to handle facilities duties in the office.

We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills – both oral and written, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. This position will be working 15 hours maximum a week, 3 hours per day, Monday - Friday.  Experience with reception or customer service is preferred. Interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to omrecruiter@chronicle.com.
