Job Details
Are you a highly motivated and detail oriented Print Production Specialist that enjoys working on all things Print? If so, we have an opportunity for you to join an in-house production team with a global retailer located in Arlington, VA. As a Print Production Specialist, you will be responsible primarily, but not exclusively, for coordinator and overseeing the day-to-day production activities for weekly print projects.
Print Production Specialist Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process, critical due dates and quality standards for print marketing materials, such as leaflet, signage and advertisements.
- Check all relevant information used in weekly print marketing materials including packaging, product name, price, and weight.
- Partner with the team to effectively direct the scheduling and processing of artwork ensuring that jobs are released to the printers efficiently and on time.
- Attend pre-production and creative meetings when necessary.
- Manage vendor relationships and quality expectations.
- Create collaborative relationships across internal departments.
- Partner with cross functional teams to ensure smooth program execution through strong communication and follow through.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, office management, economics or communication.
- 1-3 years of related working experience.
- Proficiency with all standard office software.
- Extremely detail oriented with high quality/accuracy and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational skills to set priorities and manage time.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels.
- Ability to take constructive criticism and change direction when needed.
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
