If you are seeking an opportunity to provide office support, claim verification processing and accurate data entry in the medical billing/coding industry in Frederick, MD, you will want to call for next steps! Excellent flexible hours are available! Work a full time shift as early as 6am-2pm (paid lunch) and enjoy your afternoons! All shifts available will still end your day no later than 5pm!   • Become a part of a busy office in Frederick, MD! This position is in a non-clinical office setting
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information
  • Ensure that all scheduled patient visits were completed and charges created
  • Verify claim information prior to submission for completeness and accuracy
  • Accumulate and submit supplemental documentation as needed
  • Follow up with insurance carriers on unpaid or rejected claims
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding account status and charges
  • Professional demeanor while enjoying casual dress in an office environment

Qualifications/Background profile:
  • Recent, relevant, previous office support or medical office experience
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong team player skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • NextGen practice management system experience a major plus
