The Lourie Center for Children's Social & Emotional Wellness is a private, non-profit agency with a mission to improve the social and emotional health of young children and their families through prevention, early intervention, education, research and training. The Lourie Center has four core programs serving children birth through age 12 and their families: Head Start, The Lourie Center School, The Therapeutic Nursery Program and Parent-Child Clinical Services.

The Administrative Assistant:
Provides support which includes advanced clerical tasks, minutes recording and distribution, invoicing, child and meeting attendance and running reports. They will also design, update and distribute employee information as directed by the Head Start Center Director and the monthly newsletter. They will operate a multi-phone system, provide customer service, open and distribute mail; open/close office and attend job-related meetings and training's as needed. The assistant will also complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will possess:
High School Diploma
At least 1-2 years of experience working in an administrative/front desk role
Active American Heart Association BLS CPR card
