HVAC Operations Chief and Mechanic III positions
Facilities Management at the University of Maryland College Park seeks expert senior and experienced HVAC mechanics to install, monitor, service, maintain and repair commercial HVAC equipment and associated distribution systems on campus.
QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED; a valid Maryland Class “C” driver’s license, or equivalent, with fewer than six points; and Universal CFC certi cation. HVAC Chief, position 101725, must have at least ten years progressively responsible related commercial HVAC experience. HVAC Mechanic III, position 101774, must have a minimum of eight years related commercial HVAC experience.
SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary based on quali cations and experience. Positions are Essential and subject to 24-hour/day, 7-day/week span of operation. Bene ts include health, dental, vision and prescription insurance plans, tuition remission for employees and dependents, and participation in the State pension system.
