Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). Looking to find work that stimulates your mind, challenges your skills, and satisfies your curiosity? MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to serves as the Senior Engineer and team lead for NAWC WOLF ATC Cyber Security efforts and assist MIL's Cyber Security Services Sector in delivering services to a Federal Government client and eventually other Agency components by managing and overseeing the development of a world class cyber workforce capable of delivering the following services: 1) Risk Management and Planning, 2) Risk Assessments, 3) Red Team Support, 4) Real Time Operating Systems IV&V, and 5) Resiliency Design Engineering.

Key Duties
  • Assist in managing and growing a team of high caliber Cyber professionals
  • Lead, manage and coordinate Cybersecurity through all phases of the system development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation, and implementation
  • Perform analysis of complex functions and requirements
  • Ensure conformance with appropriate and applicable policies and regulation
  • Support development of logical and physical solutions for the implementation of Cybersecurity
  • Review and prepare documents and presentations
  • Prepare proposals to seek research funds (SBIR/grants) from the Federal Government to develop CYBER resilient designs
  • Develop and deliver consistent, high quality Cyber services and products
  • Provide a quality assurance check on delivered services and products
  • Assist in the development of pricing of services
  • Assist in the marketing of services, including proposal preparation
  • Drive tactical contract opportunities with significant impact to MIL

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a scientific or mathematics-intensive discipline;
  • 10 years in a related field leading, managing and coordinating Cybersecurity through all phases of the system development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation, and implementation
  • DoD Cyber Security Workforce qualification
  • Knowledge of DoD 8510.10 Risk Management Framework and how to tailor it to Non-IT systems
  • Significant hands-on Cyber experience with Top Secret Clearance
  • Understanding Cybersecurity inter-relationships of DoD Programs of Records and sub-elements (i.e., Maintenance, Logistics, System Engineering, Test & Evaluation, etc.)
  • Understanding of DoD weapon and SCADA systems and their attack surfaces
  • Possess mentoring skills and the ability to manage a growing business sector
  • Knowledge of the DoD 5000 acquisition process
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills
  • Very good organization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Energetic and creative thinker with high business ethics and standards
  • Intelligent and articulate, and can relate to people at all levels of an organization

Desired Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a scientific or mathematics-intensive discipline;
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • CISSP certification
