Job Summary/Company: A prominent D.C. university is looking for a Part-Time Instructional Technology Specialist to join their team for the remainder of the fall semester. Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance (phone, email, and in-person) to faculty in utilizing Blackboard functions. Provide follow-up consultations as necessary.
  • Teach on-campus Blackboard workshops and provide general technical support for students.
  • Provide support for Blackboard online training.
  • Help during Open Lab hours on Friday mornings.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Expert knowledge of Blackboard required.
  • General knowledge of best practices relating to instructional technology and faculty development.
  • Experience supporting faculty and students in a teaching/learning environment.
  • Must be team-oriented and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
