Job Number: R0065478 Security Engineer Key Role: Design, develop, and recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected. Provide technical engineering support for integrated security systems. Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Author Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) artifacts using RMF guidance. Research, recommend, and document logical and physical solutions that prevent, detect, and correct the system to be certified and accredited. Perform as an Information Assurance Officer and the focal point for all security matters related to specific sets of information systems. Apply DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and perform vulnerability tests using manual techniques, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and other similar and appropriate Cybersecurity tools. Basic Qualifications: -5 years of experience with Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) using RMF -Experience with applying DoD STIGs -Experience with the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) -Secret clearance -HS diploma or GED -IAM Level II or Level III Certification per DoD8570.01 or successor -Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Level II Certification Additional Qualifications: -Top Secret clearance -BS degree -Qualified Marine Corps Validator Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
