We are looking for a talented project manager who is passionate about driving transformation in the federal IT domain to join our growing team of technology and software consulting professionals. Strong candidates will have a desire to drive change in the federal space by developing executable strategies, implementing new technologies, streamlining processes, and improving delivery of mission value delivery through new practices and tools. Responsibilities: Drive innovation by supporting pushing new technologies through the Authority to Operate process in the federal space, including developing and remediating POA&Ms Assess and clearly communicate the impact of configuration changes to operating system capabilities Interface with various diverse stakeholders as a liaison and trusted advisor Develops and oversees implementation of detailed implementation plans Work with customer teams to identify process enhancement requirements Help define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced May oversee work of analysts on other specific tasks Manage interactions and support of multiple teams Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize Comfortable driving through barriers to foster collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, and resolution Familiarity with JIRA and other Agile and traditional project management tools desirable Minimum Requirements: 5 years of full SDLC experience and experience leading teams to deliver technical implementations and systems integrations projects 2 years of experience with project management including managing a team, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and managing to a schedule 2 years of experience in PC/Macbook configuration Holds a four-year degree in an appropriate field or an additional three years of experience Understanding of computer networks including LAN and WAN Strong critical thinking, problem solving and quality assurance skills required Knowledge of Agile and principles and practices required Team player, with strong interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate and share knowledge with contacts at all levels. Skilled in developing collaborative relationships. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, are a must Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance (moderate risk public trust). Preferred Requirements: Experience leading matrixed projects teams Preferred Experience: Consulting in a Federal agency, especially within DHS Experience with Federal Systems Engineering Life Cycles (SELC) and Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) - provided by Dice digital strategy, digital roadmaps, consultant, project manager
