Job Title: AngularJS Developer Job Location: Washington DC Clearance Requirement: Public Trust - NACI Employment Period: full-time starting September 2019 Education: BS or BA (from an accredited institution) and at least 5-8 years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 4+ years of experience in development specific to Javascript, Angular JS, REST API, and SQL. Expected Travel: minimal Summary Description: OmniSolve is seeking a solutions-oriented mid level Developer with a broad range of integrated business and IT skills for a civilian government agency. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting systems across the software development lifecycle. The candidate will maintain the GEAR application environment and perform bug fixes and minor enhancements. The ideal candidate shall reflect expert knowledge of code repository tools, current automation, and programming methodologies. GEAR is an operational, agency system, maintaining the Enterprise Architecture for the client and automating the reporting process via web application interface. The Position requires competence and experience in across the SDLC, software and platform technologies, problem solving, and quality assurance techniques. The candidate should be a good facilitator and listener who can work with Government Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gain operational knowledge and support in developing an architectural roadmap for the application. Responsibilities include The candidate shall maintain an in-house developed Enterprise Architecture (EA) application (GEAR) and perform bug fixes and minor enhancements. The candidate shall understand and update any database discrepancies. Limited Application Modernization. The candidate shall provide limited application modernization for GEAR. This includes but not limited to the creation of API s to sync data between GSA systems and performance improvements. The candidate must Ability to maintain an EA tool that is developed with AngularJS, Javascript, and SQL database Experienced in REST API development and related data integration architectural styles Demonstrated written and oral communication skills and ability to coordinate technical activities with client and other vendor personnel Experience supporting development activities in an Agile environment Ability to perform development activities across the SDLC including end-to-end testing and quality assurance The following qualifications are preferred but not required, Previous work experience with enterprise architecture in Federal Government and in particular General Services Administration Ability to maintain an EA tool that is developed with nodeJS, JAVA, J2EE, Bootstrap, D3 reports, sequelize/epilogue/express - provided by Dice AngularJS, JavaScript, RESTful, SQL, J2EE, Bootstrap, Java, Agile, Node.js
