We are currently looking for staff accountants for a variety of contract and contract-to-hire opportunities throughout the Northern Virginia area. Ideal candidates will have a degree in accounting with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a general ledger role, as well as exposure to a large ERP and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Primary Responsibilities Prepare GL reconciliations and ad-hoc reports Assist with AP process, to include PO processing, invoice coding and submission of disbursements Assist with accounts receivable (cash and payment reconciliation, investigation and resolution of issues) Maintain fixed assets Balance sheet reconciliations Qualifications 2+ years' experience in a full-cycle accounting position BS in Accounting or related field Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
