Candidates for this position must have an active Security Clearance and US CitizenshipOur Government client is seeking a Network Engineer in Fort Belvoir, VA. This person is intended to support LAN functions by providing skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support of current and new technologies to the Local Area Network (LAN). Also, the Network Engineer will provide system administration for the Local Area Network (LAN). The team shall provide and administer management solutions to ensure effective daily operation and to resolve problems as they arise, tasks are required on both the NIPRNET and SIPRNET. The Network Engineer must have at least 5 years of telecommunication experience with at least three years of local area network experience. Also, must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret Clearance with IT-I sensitivity eligibility.The Network Engineer must have at least one IAT Level II certification. Also, hold at least one computing certification.
