Summary Of PositionTo support the activities of the Digital Marketing and Communications department by creating, gathering, and sourcing content for Paralyzed Veterans of America's digital fundraising campaigns; development and stewardship of PVA.org and PVA blog; execution of email campaigns; promoting Paralyzed Veterans' mission, programs and advocacy agenda online and interpreting and infusing brand intelligence into all aspects of digital fundraising.In addition, the position will work in partnership with the Social Media Manager to develop cross-channel strategies and engagement. This position also regularly monitors website and SEO/SEM performance and provides analytical reporting.Regular DutiesUsing PVA's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, manage the creation, deployment and performance of email campaigns. Partner with graphic design team to create images for donation forms, newsletters, emails, blogs and webpage content. Oversee the review, edit, and implementation process of these images; with brand standards, engagement, and web/mobile optimization top of mind.Regularly manage digital marketing vendor relations; ensuring deadlines are met.Intakes all stakeholder email production requests. Builds email layout, manages distribution/scheduling, and ensures email is optimized to meet respective business and program goals. Receives internal partner department digital requests; and clearly communicates needs/timelines to accomplish ask. Interprets request to ensure program goals are efficiently and strategically met, within PVA branding and messaging standards. Constructs new website pages and regularly makes content updates. Thoughtfully determines internal global impact of website changes and keeps in regular communications with affected areas.Work closely with in the Marketing and Communications department to synchronize and synergize content to produce better resonance with donors, corporate partners and other target audiences.Constantly stays in-the-know on industry and technology best practice/trends and makes recommendations and applications to digital layouts, aesthetic treatments, and creative as needed.Review and proofread all outbound newsletter, blog, email, and website copy, mock-ups and test messages and provide feedback to Associate Director of Digital Marketing & Communications.Maintain a list of source codes, working with the Database Manager and agency of record to ensure these are synced with Team Approach (TA) database and Accounting.Monitors website and SEO/SEM performance daily and provides reporting; constantly seeks and executes opportunities to increase website traffic and conversions.Maintain a list of URL shortcuts for donation forms and development web pages.Perform other duties as assigned by Associate Director of Digital Marketing & Development.Desired Skills, Abilities, ExperienceA bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 3-4 years' experience with multi-media content; including website and email management.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.Excellent organization and project management skills.Proficient knowledge of CRM, HTML/CSS, Google Analytics, and project management software required.A creative eye for engaging content and brand adherence. Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator preferred; motion graphic production experience a plus.Problem solving skills and affinity for data-driven decision making.Microsoft Office skills needed, specifically Word and Excel.Passion for digital marketing and nonprofit technology.Experience with digital campaign building skills a plus.Excellent oral/written communication skills.Must be motivated, organized and a team player.Some travel may be required.PVA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
