Reports to: Vice President, SalesStatus: Full Time, Non-Exempt Leading Authorities, Inc., one of the most prominent speakers bureaus, with unique capabilities in lecture representation, video, and live event production, and entertainment, is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and professional Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support our busy sales and marketing teams within our Washington, DC office. This position is a great stepping stone into a fascinating industry that sits at the intersection of business and entertainment. If you are curious, extremely detail-oriented, have a marketing and sales mindset, and enjoy meeting fascinating people from all walks of life, this is a great way to gain experience and build skills in both marketing and sales for an industry-leading speakers bureau. In this role, you will support our highly-motivated, successful sales staff by producing sales proposals for clients, conducting research, working on contracts, and completing other vital tasks. You will also assist our growing marketing team with a host of projects spanning digital marketing, database management, and event support. We are looking for candidates with bachelor's degrees in marketing, communications, business, or other related fields. 1-2 years professional experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities:Provide sales support to include:Create Client/Talent Firm Offers and ContractsAssist with client proposalsAssist with creating event itineraries and travel arrangementsScan and track signed contractsConduct research for sales staffCoordinate calendars with sales staff, speakers, and clientsAssist with client and speaker appreciation programCollect and manage speaker video footageUpdate various databasesAssist at marketing eventsProvide administrative support to include:Receive, distribute, and send mail and packagesBack-up phone duty for approximately four hours a weekSend emails and letters on behalf of the sales departmentMiscellaneous projects and additional duties, as required Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in business, communications, marketing, hospitality, or related disciplineExtremely detail oriented and organizedExperience with Microsoft CRM, a plusAbility to juggle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work under tight deadlines and occasional overtimeMust possess excellent customer service skills Compensation & Benefits:Compensation includes a generous base salary in addition to incentive compensation401(K) plan and profit sharing optionsPaid vacation and holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife and disability insurance This position is based in our Washington, DC headquarters which is conveniently located in downtown Washington, DC, close to the Dupont Circle, Farragut North, and West Metro Stations.
