Hope Walks builds sustainable national clubfoot programs in low- and middle-income countries. We train and equip national partners in the Ponseti method of clubfoot treatment and provide dedicated parent support and education to ensure success. Through quality treatment and compassionate care, we make freedom from clubfoot a reality. Hope Walks frees children, families, and communities from the burden of clubfoot as a platform to share the gospel. SUMMARYThe Grants Coordinator will research, write proposals, and manage grants for Hope Walks' global programs. He/She will liaise with operations, development, and marketing to create comprehensive proposals and follow-up reports that professionally represent Hope Walks. The ideal candidate will have a self-starter personality that is very motivated to see the work of Hope Walks grow. This full-time position will report to the President and will work closely with Operations and the national programs. This is a full-time position with flexibility for location. It can be based out of our US office in Dillsburg, PA or can be based remotely elsewhere in the United States if the right candidate is identified in another location. RESPONSIBILITIES Research and identify available grant opportunities and consult with the Operations team for viabilityPrepare grant proposals coordinating organizational needs with the goals and vision of the Operations team and President Manage the reporting requirements and follow up process for awarded grantsMonitor the outcomes of the funded programs throughout the lifecycle of the grant, keeping relevant staff informed about upcoming deadlines and milestonesMeet or exceed fundraising goals within the grants portfolioDevelop strategies with headquarters and program staff to advance Hope Walks' grants programUnderstand the organization's monitoring and evaluation strategy and routinely stay informed of the Key Performance Indicators that measure each program's outcomesMaintain database of grants and grant opportunities, ensuring a timely and accurate application and reporting and maintaining the record keeping cycle and process so it is clear across the organizationTravel to Hope Walks' programs to monitor the implementation of grant activities and research program needs (1 time per year)Liaise with national program staff and support them in the identification, preparation and submission of possible in-country grant opportunities QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Communications, English, Writing, or other related field2 to 4 years of professional experience in grants management Personal faith in Christ and commitment to the mission of Hope WalksExceptional written and oral communication skills - including the ability to clearly convey and incite passionStrong organizational skills and ability to adhere to and meet strict project timelinesAbility to work independently and take initiative to achieve optimal resultsExcellent knowledge of common technology: Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Etapestry and other grant research tools like Foundation CenterPast experience with an international non-profit or ministry preferred Interested, qualified applicants should apply by sending your Resume and Cover Letter to hr@hopewalks.org with your name and position title in the subject line.
