JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Client Technology Management fosters strong relationships with designDATA's clients, ensuring that we support and enable our clients' goals and develop into trusted partners. The Director does this by meeting with client leadership regularly to ensure that we remain aligned with their priorities and avoid or quickly resolve any relationship risks, by providing direction and oversight to multiple service delivery teams and directly supervising the Program Manager leading each team, and by keeping designDATA's leadership informed of new opportunities and emerging risks to our ability to deliver value and excellent service. The Director is a member of designDATA's executive team and participates in the development of designDATA's strategy and service offerings, leading key initiatives and supporting others. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Participate in designDATA's executive team and contribute to our strategy and key initiatives. * Develop trusted relationships with client leaders to retain existing accounts and drive new revenue opportunities. * Monitor the health of all assigned accounts and redirect resources to protect at-risk accounts. * Study client data and our competition to find new ways to retain clients and improve client experience. * Support the leadership of designDATA's service delivery teams to develop their teams and deliver excellent service to clients. * Assist service delivery teams to achieve their goals for service delivery, contract renewals, and new project sales. * Mentor designDATA's next generation of leaders. * Stay abreast of industry trends, practices, services, and technologies affecting our clients and managed service offerings to promote new revenue opportunities. * Collaborate with our sales team to up-sell or cross-sell new services and products. * Participate in or lead the development and launch of new service offerings. * Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with designDATA's policies and applicable laws. * Manage vendor and partner relationships. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: . Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, and six to eight years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. . Outstanding ability to work both independently and in a team. . Outstanding communication and customer relations skills. . Willingness to go "above and beyond" to exceed customer expectations. . Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. . Skilled at mentoring new leaders. . Thrive under stress, pressure, and deadlines. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: . Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. . Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. . Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. . Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Snipe IT, and ConnectWise. . Leadership: Maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards and goals . Strategic Implementation/Thinking: Formulates effective strategies consistent with the business and competitive strategies, examines policy issues and strategic planning with a long-term perspective, determines objectives, sets priorities, and anticipates potential threats or opportunities. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities. Travel will be required to participate in events or meet with clients and are typically day trips in nature. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The individual will be subject to sedentary work with the majority of hours in a professional office environment, and will need to be able to quickly respond to a change in work demands. The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal. Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects (1-40 lbs.) are required.
