Job SummaryResponsible for developing and executing a sales and marketing plan. Responsible for recruiting, training and supervision of Transport Sales Representatives, setting goals and managing performance resulting in meeting or exceeding gross profit and demand forecast targets.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the commodities marketResponsible for having a thorough understanding of market supply and logisticsResponsible for developing sales tactics specific to the sale of fuels and training Sales Representatives on the same (fixed, index, structures) Responsible for the sale and profitability of products, accountable for meeting or exceeding all established targets related to sales and profitabilityResponsible for understanding and adhering to all policies and procedures related to risk managementResponsible for developing and managing annual demand forecast and gross profit budget for this particular piece of businessAssures that prospect lists are developed and actively managed by Sales RepresentativesAssures that sales activities and prospect list management are documented in CRMMaintain accurate and detailed records on all accounts (current and future) including supply agreement, contracts, etc.Prepares all sales contracts in compliance with company standardsResponsible for recommending compensation structure for all existing and new Sales Representatives along with annual updates to these structures as necessaryResponsible for annual performance reviews of all assigned Sales Representatives and recommendations for annual salary treatment as applicableMonitor ROI related to new and existing product sales agreements identifying those not performing in accordance with established ROI standards and developing a plan to improve performanceReviews accounts monthly and makes sure Sales Representatives are contacting underperforming and inactive accountsMinimum Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStatistical or Analytical Experience (Must be extremely proficient in Excel)Communication Skills Ability to work independently while managing a multitude of tasksUnderstanding of financial accounting including P&L statementsLogistics Experience is a plusBS/BA preferred
