Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center has an opening for a fulltime Accounts Payable Clerk to process a large volume of invoices, enter order confirmations, and verify costs against purchase orders. Requirements:Five or more years of Accounts Payable and Inventory Control experience (utilizing purchase orders and receiving reports).Ability to resolve vendor disputes and reconcile vendor statements.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Some college (with experience in Accounting) preferred.College-level basic Accounting.Knowledgeable in basic Accounting procedures, practices, and principles.Ability to determine work priorities to meet scheduled deadlines and terms of invoices.Ability to follow, apply, and interpret instructions.Must have great communication skills to interact with both co-workers and vendors.Must be able to multitask and take on new tasks as assigned. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, and 401K. Hours would be fulltime Monday - Friday.
