CAD Support Engineer Job Description The Employee shall provide Computer Aided Design (CAD) support to USMC Program Manager, Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA) engineering teams on the ACV and AAV Programs, use computer resources provided by the Government in the execution of all tasks, and provide a status report IAW CDRL A010. CAD tasks will include but are not limited to:Reviewing, developing, and maintaining CAD drawings and models in accordance with PM AAA configuration management processes;Reviewing and documenting issues with drawings and models, coordinate the resolution of the issues, and provide feedback to the Government;Updating the CAD products based on approved ECPs; andDeveloping concept 3D designs and perform modeling analyses (eg, space claim, volume and interference checks). PM AAA uses both 2-D (eg, dwg, .C4, and PDF) and 3-D (eg, CREO) CAD files and Windchill. All drawings and models developed by the Contractor shall be in accordance to ASME Y14.100 standards and AAV drawing and modeling guidance. Required qualifications should include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other similar degree5+ years of experience on CREO or AutoCadPrior experience on an ACAT I/II/III program Preferred qualifications include:Active SECRET security clearance
