Job DescriptionEssential Functions/Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test software components using Node.js, React, MongoDB, Elastic Search, AWS and other latest technologies on a recently created source base Collaborate with other team members to incorporate best practices and innovations into our products Leverage team development standards, patterns, and design principles in daily activities Collaborate closely with product managers and UX during discovery, design, and development Stay current on technology trends and identify ways to innovate our products in the education space Minimum Qualifications: Extensive development experience using Node.js, Node.js frameworks, RESTful web services, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, ReactJS Able to lead and guide rest of the team on best practices for creating and maintaining JavaScript applications 3&plus years of database experience with MySQL, Oracle, MSSSQL and NoSQL Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI or CodeFresh. Hands-on experience using Docker, Kubernetes Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as Lambda, SES, SQS, EC2, RDS, ELB's and have knowledge of VPC's (AWS and/or RightScale knowledge a plus.
