The Regional Finance Manager is responsible, together with the team located at the Global HQ in Europe, for the business support, financial reporting, accounting and tax compliance as well as driving efficient financial processes for the Elements Group in the North America, Caribbean and Latin America region. While keenly monitoring the overall accounting process, the successful Finance Manager will play a key role in implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of our company focusing on the countries and entities in the Region. Though this position is part of the management team, it requires someone that can scale up and scale down while handling both the day to day as well as the strategic aspects. Supports and owns the business support for all finance related activities impacting customers, suppliers, employees and other parties in the Americas region.Implements the Corporate policies, procedures and controls to ensure reasonableness of financial statements (statutory and management) and ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS accounting policies.Develops and continually refine key business metrics and provides financial analysis and modelling to support strategic and tactical decision-makingEnsures the period end closing calendar is consistently met and financials are reported to Management with the right level of analysis.Develops an adequate internal control environment so the right set of key controls is in place.Leads all the External Audit activities in the region on behalf of the Finance teamPerforms routine and ad hoc financial analysesMaintains company's system of accounts; keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets.Manages outside accounting and auditor relationshipsTo line manage finance operations in respect of accounts payable, accounts receivable and purchasing ensuring delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective service to the business.Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations in compliance with IFRS & US GAAPResponsible for reviewing and approving ICP payroll funding request after entered by AP. Qualifications & Requirements The Finance Operations Manager will have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Accounting, Finance, or Business.3 to 5 years of previous experience as a Finance Manager or Finance Controller in an international professional services company is required, including relevant experience of 3 years at least in a Big 4 audit firm.The Finance Manager must possess outstanding interpersonal skills in order to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently. The ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment is required.The Finance Manager is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients and internal stake holders while producing a high-quality work product.The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential.
