Summary
The USPS OIG is seeking students enrolled in college/university programs to fill our Student Cooperative - (Paid) position in the Office of General Counsel (OGC), FOIA, Policy and Records team located in Arlington, VA. The Student Cooperative Program is available for continuous employment throughout the year, while enrolled in school.

Responsibilities
The FOIA, Policy and Records team manages the OIG's policies and records and responds to Freedom of Information (FOIA) requests from the public. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team and who possesses excellent organizational and time management skills. The Student Cooperative will work collaboratively with staff in a program support capacity. This position will offer exposure to government record and policy management and FOIA request processing. This position may work with staff throughout the agency, so a professional disposition is a must. The Student Cooperative Program is available for continuous employment throughout the year.

The USPS OIG uses a Pay Banding system, which is equivalent to the Federal GS scale. Grade and salary determinations will be made based upon a candidate's education and professional experience. This position is being advertised at the Administrative Band level. Locality Pay is authorized.
Sophomore $18.19 per hour including locality pay.
Junior/Senior $19.40 per hour including locality pay.
Graduate or Law Student $21.98 per hour including locality pay.

- Working toward a degree in Library Science or Information, Policy and Records Management.
- Experience using Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and One Drive
