Position Summary The International Sign Association (ISA), recognized by the Council of Manufacturing Associations as a "Best Place to Work" in 2018, is seeking a creative, strategic manager to drive the association's event marketing strategic campaigns. This team player would combine a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' working-style with an eagerness to create and implement the organization's digital and traditional marketing efforts. A primary focus for this role is driving attendees to ISA International Sign Expo, ISA's annual tradeshow and conference (20,000+ attendees and other association events ( The marketing manager must be able to juggle many tasks with moving deadlines and changing expectations. They will be a forward-thinking and creative in managing cross-marketing campaigns. They will be able to think strategically across all events and organizational goals. They must be able to identify and analyze potential marketing opportunities and effectively manage them to completion on time and within budget. The right person will be driven, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills, a knowledge and passion for marketing, and a desire to support successful day-to-day operations of a dynamic, fast-paced marketing team. What Success Looks Like: Embraced ISA's "culture code," by taking risks to create a dynamic and innovative marketing strategy to increase overall attendance for ISA International Sign Expo, as well as an increase in attendance for key market segments. Executed a strong strategic marketing campaign that pushed the line creatively and exceeded goals and expectations. Implemented digital marketing tactics, established processes for analysis and execution and created metrics to determine success of these new tactics. Lead the organization to record growth of all events and elevated the ISA, ISA International Sign Expo, and Sign Research Foundation brands. Duties: Oversee and execute marketing campaigns and analysis. Take the lead on Hubspot, marketing automation platform, for event marketing to ensure all content is promoted in a timely manner, as well as create appropriate workflows within the platform, update personas, create email marketing campaigns and track all results. Manage, implement, and track all digital promotions, including paid advertising promotions, and ensure best practices are used for email promotions. Leverage social media software tool, to draft, post and monitor social media engagement across all platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Analyze, evaluate and prioritize important communication/marketing opportunities. Manage all performance analyses and optimization efforts across several marketing programs within the organization. Write, edit and repurpose content (copy and photos) for marketing efforts, including websites and social media channels on a daily basis. Manage barter/paid media agreements and partner relationships, as well as make recommendations for partnership improvements. Create and manage content for ISA website (signs.org) and (signexpo.org) as well as manage web analytics efforts, reporting & analysis of cross-channel marketing campaigns. Research and identify relevant and innovative technologies, social networks, tools and digital marketing strategies to improve ISA's marketing efforts. Create and/or repurpose graphic designs for multipurpose use throughout marketing campaigns. Work with Marketing Project Coordinator and internal departments for effective positioning and messaging of ISA events and annual tradeshow programs.
