Sinclair Broadcast Group has an exciting and immediate opening as a Treasury Analyst. This position will sit at our corporate office in Hunt Valley, MD as a key part of our Treasury Department. Job Responsibilities: Manage daily cash flow (forecast and actuals) Access bank activity and record in cash position Analyze and report on forecast vs. actual variances in cash position and look for solutions to improve future forecasts Facilitate investment and borrowing needs Review interest and fees on the company's debt Manage debt and loan balances Investigate cash management related issues using problem solving skills and implement issue resolution processes Facilitate the wire payments Process deposits using a remote desktop scanner, as needed Analyze bank fees and propose more cost-effective processes and solutions Assist with mergers and acquisitions including the transitioning of bank accounts and cash management programs Set up of new stations in banking platforms and review and analysis of best practices Calculate and present cost analysis and product review for new banking products Maintain procedure documents for the daily functions to assist with cross training Help provide suggestions for ongoing process improvements Participate in special projects What we're looking for: A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Treasury experience is a plus 1-3 years of experience in a Treasury or a similar role Advanced Excel skills Knowledge of banking systems/cash position management Experience working in financial software systems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven analytical and proactive problem-solving skills Moderate Microsoft Office skills Excellent attention to detail and organized with a solid work ethic The ability to work independently, as well as on a team Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace! *LI-SP1
