Up to a $10,000 signing bonus for candidates who apply immediately and are ready to after requirements have been fulfilled (See the recruiter for specific details) Position Detail HDS is actively seeking a Mid-Senior Level Web Developer II for a client in the Intelligence Community, located in DC The Web Developer II will support mission-critical functions for high-profile member of the IC community with a worldwide footprint. Clearance Requirements: You must have an active Top Secret Clearance for this position and have the ability to obtain a CI Poly, facilitated by HDS and our client. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The Web Developer II will be focused on new, mission-critical initiatives for the OCIO'S office following Agile software development practices. The candidate will also provide development support while maintaining and enhancing existing applications. The agency's applications are largely built with the Microsoft technology stack, such as JavaScript, SQL Server, jQuery, JPA Visual Studio, and SharePoint Designer. The agency has a very thoroughly developed and mature Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and well vetted standards. Other Job Responsibilities include: * Design and develop engaging user experiences using HTML, JavaScript and CSS * Develop and integrate software utilities using .NET and or Sharepoint technologies * Participate in various stages of the SDLC including working directly with business users and analysts to define functional and technical requirements Required Skills for the Position: * 2-4+ years developing solutions using JavaScript, SQL Server, jQuery, JPA , C#, ASP.NET Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer and AWS Cloud * 2-4+ years following software development methodologies; eg Waterfall, Agile, etc. * Object Oriented Analysis and Design experience * Good communication and documentation skills * SharePoint 2013 experience is a plus Highly Desired Skills for the Position: * Working knowledge of ODNI Architecture/Standards * Working knowledge or expertise in Department of Justice Standards on all enclaves * Knowledge of Federal Enterprise Architecture * Working knowledge of 508 Standards * Familiarity with FISMA, audits, POA&M processes, scanning, and/or secure software development.
