Are you interested in a role that reports financial results to senior management, the Freddie Mac Board of Directors and the investment community? If you possess a strong financial aptitude, mad PowerPoint skills, and are detail oriented, apply to join the Investor Relations team within Freddie Mac's Risk & Finance Strategic Operations (RFSO) Finance group as an Investor Relations Professional. You will be responsible for the monthly Corporate Dashboard provided to senior management and will assist in the quarterly financial Earnings Release process among many other duties.

Your Work Falls into Two Primary Categories:

External Reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly earnings release files (Press Release and Financial Supplement)
  • Prepare the quarterly Investor Presentation

Management and Board Reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for management and Board reporting, including items such as the CFO Update and Corporate Scorecard Update presentations and the Corporate Dashboard
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for quarterly meetings with the U.S. Treasury
  • Perform market-related research and document findings for senior management


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of accounting or reporting experience, finance industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Must have solid communication (both verbal and written) and analytical skills
  • Must be a team player, proactive, and detail oriented
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to adjust and adapt to changes in the current processes in order to meet management/company's changing needs
  • Time management skills are essential
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
