GSE Mechanic - (19300515)Description Are you an experienced mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of auto and diesel engines? Are you a team player that others can rely on? Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting). ASE Certification preferred. ATS provides paid on the job training, advancement opportunities, and safety incentive bonuses. As an ATS Mechanic you will:Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot and repair: vehicles & belt loaders (unleaded, diesel and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units and morePerform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipmentWork with station management to help control budget and order parts and suppliesTo be an ATS Mechanic you must:Be at least 18 years of age and possess a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalentPossess a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordBe able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes a 10-year extensive employment, criminal record and residence background checkAs an ATS Mechanic you must be able to:Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) in confined spaces on a regular basisClimb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periodsWork outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noisesAirport Terminal Services (ATS) is an international ground handler that supports the airline industry.
