We are Glassdoor's 2019 Best Places To Work and are currently seeking a full time Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team in our Annapolis,MD. Salary $50-55K + Full Benefits!! The Human Resources Specialist handles and provides support for various HR employee programs within the organization. This role administers employee health and retirement plans and acts as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resources Specialist also assist the HR Manager with complex and specialized tasks including record keeping, generating reports, compliance, unemployment claims and background check analysis. Responsibilities: Administer health plans, including enrollment, changes, and terminations Assist employees regarding benefit claim issues and plan changes Perform quality checks of benefits-related data Reconcile benefit statements on a weekly and monthly basis Process required documents to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions; research and resolve discrepancies as needed Manage company 401K open enrollment process Provide all ACA reporting on a consistent basis Compile and send ACA letters monthly Background Check Analysis Compliance Unemployment claims and analysis Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field and/or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in the human resources field Highly Proficient in Excel #LI-CB3
