Primary Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls from members inquiring to purchase travel insurance productsComprehend and communicate insurance language, policy details, and exclusionsConvert caller inquiries into SafeTrip salesAnswer up to 80 incoming calls a dayLoading new member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changesManage multiple email inboxes and responding to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment statusReconcile eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changeControl inventory of member and group transactionsWork frequently with client management team and brokers to complete group enrollmentsWork individually or in a team settingRequired Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher)2+ years of experience in an office environment3+ years customer service experience or consumer salesProperty & Casualty Producer Insurance and Life & Health Insurance license OR the ability to obtain within 90 days of employmentAvailable to work 40 hours per week within the operating hours of the site (7:00am - 7:00 pm)Available to work in the Columbia, MD office Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree (or higher) OR equivalent work experience Soft Skill:Ability to work with complex systems and proceduresPhysical Requirements and Work Environment: Critical thinking, frequent speaking, active listening using a headset, computer skills, handling other objects, long periods of sitting and or standing at desk Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
