The Marketing & Sales department achieves this goal by delivering best-in-class marketing strategy and services to clients within and beyond the Membership Division. The department supports goals through the expertise of a marketing services team focused on distribution channels and account teams that are deployed and embedded across key Society functions. Success for this unit is measured by long-term growth of membership, marketing performance metrics, and the satisfaction levels of internal customer groups among other metrics.Position SummaryThe Marketing Associate will be a key member of the Marketing & Sales team. They will support the Sr. Marketing Manager in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to meet the goals of our Department of Meetings & Expositions Business Unit. The incumbent will work with the Sr. Marketing Manager to execute campaigns through a variety of channels to reach target audiences with accurate and targeted messaging. Position serves to support the relationship manager between the marketing team and business unit. Position AccountabilitiesThe Marketing Associate will be highly organized and an adept communicator. The position works within a team environment to collectively achieve the goal of the Marketing & Sales team. 1. Collaborates across the team to implement marketing plans designed to reach awareness, registration, membership, and revenue targets.2. Collaborates with subject matter experts to inform copy creation and messaging. 3. Write and format copy and content for email marketing campaigns.4. Writes copy for social posts, blogs, email, ads and other channels as needed5. Collect, analyze, and report on marketing success using analytic tools to inform and optimize ongoing marketing efforts.6. Manage and update marketing project time lines and marketing plans.7. Create and update tracking codes for marketing projects.8. Collaborate with colleagues to bring projects to completion by specified target dates.9. Assist with presentations by gathering all relevant materials and resources.10.
